Smoke detector

In order to increase the safety of our tenants, all apartments within HSB Gambrinus have a smoke detector that belongs to the apartment.

We have chosen to use smoke detectors where our tenants do not need to replace the smoke detector's batteries, but instead we replace the smoke detector if necessary. According to the manufacturer, the smoke detector lasts for about ten years before it needs to be replaced.

Maintenance of the smoke detector

You should check the function of your smoke detector time and time again every quarter to make sure it still works! To do this, press the control button. You should also clean the smoke detector once a year externally using a vacuum cleaner.  Be careful and use a brush nozzle!

You must absolutely not disassemble or take down the smoke detector. If there is a fault with the smoke detector, you should submit a fault report to us HERE.
