Waste handling

Opening hours for the waste rooms are 07:00-22:00, like this the nearest neighbors are not disturbed.

In each towerblock, there is a waste room and a recycling room. The residents of the towerblocks have access to the garbage- and recycling rooms in their own house. Residents in the odd numbered houses have access to the garbage- and recycling  rooms in the towerblocks as follows:

Wv 5 and 7 → Wv 2 Wv 9 and 11 → Vw 4 Wv 13 and 15 → Wv 6

Wv 17 and 19 → Wv 8 Wv 21 and 23 → Wv 10 Vw 25 and 27 → Wv 12

In the garbage room to the right of the entrance, you can throw away food and other waste. In this room, you’ll also find recycling bins for light bulbs and batteries.

In the recycling room to the left of the entrance there are fractions for paper, plastic and metal packaging, clear and coloured glass, newspapers and paper. Please note that the card reader is located approx. one meter to the right of the door. Inside the waste rooms there are sorting instructions in Swedish and English.

You must use special paper bags for kitchen waste. The bags and holders for them will be in the waste rooms.

Last but not least - it is everyone's joint responsibility to keep the waste- and recycling rooms neat and clean! Clean up after yourself and be sure to sort waste correctly. It is not permitted to place rubbish next to the containers.

Incorrect sorting and littering will lead to increased costs for all members of Bofinken.

Other waste (e.g refrigerators) should be brought to recycling centers, the nearest one being Bromma återvinningscentral on Linta gårdsväg 16 in Bromma. For more information se their website
